During the bleakest time in my life, I conjured up some characters and started a webcomic. What started as a very poorly drawn (using a mouse) comic that I didn’t expect anyone to really read became a steady part of my life with weekly updates and a small steady fan-base. GingerDead and friends has been running for over 3 years. GingerDead and Friends quickly began to incorporate haiku and has continued to use an illustrated haiku form over traditional strips. As a result, readers often haiku back or email me haiku. It’s pretty wonderful. From the comic, a line of alternative greeting cards was born which are available, along with select comic prints via my Etsy store and ecclectic shops. View the Greeting Card Gallery to check out all the designs.
